Hi, my name is MrsK! Is it possible that I might be entitled to PIP?

I've been off work since Nov 1st and finally saw a physio who has said I need a full kneee replacement. I am the sole wage earner as my husband has stage 4 cancer. Is it possible that o might be entitled to PIP? I have not left the house since Nov other than for doctor and physio appointments.

Hi @MrsK You are managing a lot. I hope you're doing ok.
I've located the eligibility criteria (below) and it looks as though the only part that might hold you back (if not only temporarily) is the health condition threshold begins after 3 months, being off work from early Nov.
I'm sure another member of the forum will be able to confirm this, and perhaps provide a bit more detail of their personal experience but this is what I can gather from the guidelines.
Best wishes,
Holly.
