New style ESA
Hi I wondered if anyone could help. I put in a claim for ESA in September had forms sent to fill in all sent back. I noticed this my this NHS App 18th December.
- Coded entry - Medical report requested (XaCHe) - HAAS report requested, to HE for processing, GDPR updated.
Will this delay my claim I’ve done the 13 weeks assessment period. Thank you

This just means they sent a medical professional the ESA113 form to fill in and return. It won’t delay the decision making process. The 13 week assessment time doesn’t mean a decision will be made within that time. Once the decision is made if placed into the Support Group your money will increase from the 14th week of your claim. When it takes longer than that they would owe you some money.

Hi poppy123456 thank you for your reply so I guess it’s just a waiting game & there’s no time scale.

Yes you just need to wait and no there’s no timescales. Most people have an assessment too so you may need one of those.
