Living with chronic pain for over 10 years and now seeing if eligible for ADP. Hoping to chat with some in a similar position as well as just sharing with others and being supportive where I can.

Hi @Mondo74, welcome to the community. I'm sorry you've not received a response to this post yet. Have things moved on for you at all since the original post? If so, I'd love to know how you're getting on. I'm sure others will benefit from your experience if you're happy to share. 🙂

If not, have you looked in to the type of disabilities you might be entitled to? I'd recommend having a look at the Government website where you can complete the benefits calculator and look at the types of benefits you may be entitled to. I've added a link to the website - Benefits and financial support if you're disabled or have a health condition - GOV.UK

    Best wishes,

Hi @Holly_Scope and thank you for your response.

I am trying to navigate through a claim for the mobility portion of Adult Disability Payment but if you read the qualifying criteria, its as if nobody would ever be able to claim unless they pretty much cannot walk at all. My issue is that I can walk, it just causes significant pain to do so and I have no choice but to put up with that. I just wondered how other folks have navigated through claims for mobility benefits.
