Maybe the housing officer just needs to check that you are OK? I would have been helpful if she had written a couple of words to inform you what she wanted.

Hi @0000 and welcome to the online community! I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. Did your housing officer leave any other words on the note? If you're feeling up to it today, maybe give them a call. It might help put your mind at rest once you've spoken to them. Have you notified the police about the situation with the person stalking in your building? If not, I would recommend reporting this.
Best wishes,
Holly.

If your council is anything like mine, the housing team will likely be overworked, understaffed, and low in motivation. I hope you get some good advice from them all the same.

Hi @0000 bless you, I can empathise with how you feel. But like @Ranald said, hopefully she might have just wanted to check you were ok. I hope you're able to put it to the back of your mind and relax a little for now. And then when you're feeling a bit better, if you make contact with them you can always ask to arrange another visit and that way you'll know when they're coming in advance. 🙂
