my daughter is working and. I’m on pop she been caring for me since 2022 as I have a lot of health conditions anyway we were never told we could claim carers as she worked so I told her too phone up it was then that they told us about carers element so I told her too ask for a backdate as we had no clue it was even possible it’s been nearly 5wks since the mandatory reconsideration was put it and still not heard anything tia and help

Carers element is part of Universal Credit (UC) and isn't a benefit on its own. Your daughter would only be able to claim this if she claims UC in her own right. This element has no earnings limit like carers allowance does. The only time she wouldn't be able to claim it is if her UC includes the LCWRA element for herself
Carers allowance is a separate benefit to UC and for this there's an earnings limit of £151/week.
