Hi from north of Inverness :-) It's been wild and windy for a couple of days here. Last night brought us freezing rain but today, so far, is dry and bright. Light cloud covering with bits of blue sky but the ground is treacherously slippy so dog-walking will wait a while. We have woods to walk in but a very slippy pavement to get to it! Hope everyone's ok. I believe there are still a lot of homes without electricity. If that's you then I hope you get it back very soon.

Galdriver we've been fine in Bristol -certainly nowhere near as bad as your neck of the woods and Ireland -today just wet and windy and bloody miserable --Sudays like these remind me of childhood Sundays when there was nothing to do and no where to go but watch rubbish TV-definitely go extra careful if it's a bit slippery under foot -I'm sure the dog understands ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

Hi I'm over the bridge & up into the valleys in Wales. It's dark, windy and wet. ๐
In comparison to yesterday when I dried my washing outside. We had a heavy frost first thing though.

I live in Bognor Regis on the south coast. At the moment, it's wet & windy. I'm hoping to go for a walk this afternoon

On the south coast, it's torrential and really windy. Much worse than storm- whatever it was called the other day.

Up North (coastal County Durham) is calm, mostly dry, and reasonably mild for late January.
I think it's looking like an fairly easy winter but as Bluebell wrote, we'll never be able to predict the weather more than two days in advance here and that's not always reliable!

@MAURICE82
Hi I hope you and everyone else are all doing well and keeping warm.Iโm up in Glasgow the past few days were terrible Friday being the worst.
Thereโs been a fair bit off damage caused by the storm, everywhere was closed down on Friday, itโs raining and a little windy today and the streets look icy.
Im having a day in I donโt fancy going ice skating. ๐@Sandy_123
Yes I thought that also maybe Iโm confused ๐1 -

Hello all,
The Bristol wet and windy weather is moving and has arrived in South East! Weather forecast did apparently predict it would follow that pattern! To all of you who are recovering after the aftermath of recent storm, hope you are beginning to see a glimpse of recovery with warmer drier weather and hopefully restored power!
Officially, spring is still a way off but at least the days are becoming longer again, so hopefully a warmer spring will arrive soon!
Stay warm and safe everyone!
