Feeling really rubbish about my job.

I work in a profession known for high stress and unfairness. I am minimum wage though and was lucky enough to wfh and flexible hours. However today out the blue I was given a formal notice for not being up to standard. I suffer from severe chronic migranes and brain fog and focus so I understand but also get vauge instructions and had no training. I never have reviews. I have never been in this situation before. I have always been a top model employee. I guess this really was not a good fit for me. Tonight I had 4 panic attacks. I was going to quit but the very nice 111 advisor helping me breathe through it said to claim SSP. I am now sitting here feeling like my heart is in a vice and with another migrane from crying.

Hi @Alwaysheadaches, I'm so sorry this has happened to you, that sounds so stressful. These sort of things can have a real impact, especially when you're already dealing with some difficult symptoms. It's good that you felt able to reach out to 111 for some help. How are you feeling today?

Are the people at your workplace aware of your health issues at all? If you'd like to speak to someone and get some advice, ACAS can be really helpful with work related things.

If you feel like you'd need some time off to rest and recover, please do reach out to your GP. They might be able to get you signed off while you decide what to do next.

Hope things start getting easier for you soon 💜
