If they are proceeding to a full assessment then I don't think the report from paper assessment will have been returned to the DWP for them to make their decision. So there won't be one for you to request.

Perhaps if you contact Maximus they will clarify.

Thank you I will give them a call. It was DWP that sent that text message

I would give them a call to clear up exactly what has happened. As it is, they have not explained to you well enough the reason for the previous call. I would call Maximus to clear up what has gone in. It sounds like they were seeing if you needed a full assessment or a paper-based one, but they should have really clarified what that out of the blue phone call was for.

Do let us know how you get on @Snowflake05 and if you do want to read up a little about the assessment please check out the following advice article we have: PIP | Disability charity Scope UK

Hi jimm_scope thank you for the advice. I rang Maximus and told them that I got a call on Friday i wasn't informed beforehand to say i have a telephone assessment which lasted 49 minutes. She said that you won't be having another assessment and that your report is done and sent to DWP. I then asked if I can have a copy of the assessment report she said once you get a text from DWP about your claim you then can ring DWP and request a copy of the report so now it's just a waiting game.

Do you know how long it takes for DWP to get in touch as to what you have been awarded with.

Timescales for a decision are up to 12 weeks.

As Maximus have confirmed the report is with the DWP, you can ring PIP and ask for a copy.
