Council tax reduction

Hi everyone
While my UC claim is been processed my council tax is suspended and I have notified them of this. I have been asked for two months bank statements, confirmation of who lives with me and my UC statement when I receive it. Do they normally ask for all these if I migrated from ESA?

Each local council operates a different scheme so we can't advise on individual cases from here.
Some councils treat UC differently to legacy benefits and the amount payable can change.
I don't think what they've asked for is unusual given you basically have had a change of circumstances.

Perhaps they are taking the opportunity to do a claim review at the same time 😊
Efficiency does strike at local authorities sometimes lol 😂
