After a high court judge making money saving cuts for disabled illegal..How is Reeves still seemingly going forward with Disability cuts ?
Generally speaking court rulings havent prevented governments from doing what they want to do, especially when is a lack of mainstream media attention and lack of public knowledge of said rulings. Also as I understand it the court didnt rule the cuts illegal, but rather the way that the consultation was carried out, the DWP didnt do it properly. As @worried33 mentions, what was ruled illegal was the way a consultation was carried out. As there are specific legal guidelines the government must stick to when carrying out a consultation.
