Hi everyone I've been struggling since I lost my partner 6 months ago after a 7 year battle before that I was a carer for my mother in law for 5 years she had Alzheimer's and before that I looked after a man with spinal injuries in a wheel chair I've let my own health go I've now got all sorts wrong with me but I soldiered on because I didn't want to let these loved ones down anyway I had my telephone interview with pip she said to me have u ever worked I went mad considering I've been doing 60 70 hours a week for carers allowance I've had a total of 17 days holiday in 12 years no Xmas days off or boxing day or new years eve or new year's day this system stinks I've saved this government close to one million pounds if they were paying me 20 an hour shift allowance enhanced rates all I've asked is that I'm treat fairly and I'm struggling financially when my partner was alive we had close on two thousand pound every 4 weeks now my total is 798 that includes pip when it's cold I choose to heat instead of eat I have type 2 diabetes that's the least of my illness I can't stick to a diet because I can't afford to any comments would be appreciated

Have I had any help no apart from family no carers nothing I'm ashamed to call myself British I will probably not get awarded pip because I haven't done enough hours in the last 12 years lol joke
