Help please symptoms have worsened

hi I already get pip for ddd MH etc but since claiming my back has become worse and now diagnosed with axial spondyloarthritis and needed to be put on specialist Medication. My award doesn’t run out untill 2026 should I put a change of circumstances in now and try for high rate mobility or leave it. Any help much appreciated thank you xx

Hi @hayley5, It's a difficult one. If you feel like you would benefit from being reassessed and think you'd score some extra points on the descriptors now, then it could be worth it. But just bear in mind that they will reassess your whole case. This could mean that your award goes up but it could also mean that either part goes down. It doesn't mean you shouldn't go for it, just something to consider as it can be a little bit of a gamble sometimes 😊
I hope some of our members might be able to share some experiences and advice too, I know it's not an easy decision to make!

this is my worry as I only won the award by going to tribunal (via online) and my award really was based on my MH more so I did touch on my mobility problems but at the time my MH was the main factor. May just leave it and add it to my renewal ? Xxx thank you so much for your reply xxx
