Hi I have just been migrated from ESA to UC. UC is paid monthly, ESA is paid fortnightly or twice every 28 days. As most months are not 28 days, will UC pay the extra days in the month?
Thank you

ESA is a weekly benefit, paid fortnightly. UC is monthly and there's 4.3 weeks in a month, not 4 weeks. For UC when you receive your payment each month it will be for 1 months money. Payments are made on the same date each month, unless that date falls on a weekend or bank holiday and then you'll receive payment on the Friday before.

Hi @mossy10, I can see Poppy is already here answering your questions but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the community. I hope your migration went smoothly 😊
