these peas in a pod think depression and anxiety are part of everyday life .
I’ve been diagnosed with different types of depression since a I was a teenager and have been chronically suicidal for years - depression is NOT part of everyday life .
I’ve also been diagnosed with a severe anxiety disorder - anxiety is NOT part of everyday life . Worrying is part of life but anxiety when bad basically controls your life and can paralyse you emotionally.
I'm sick and tired of these PRIVILEGED people belittling Mental Health issues.
I’m absolutely sick and tired of it !

@Nightcity Perfect way of putting it. It's only "Mild" if you don't suffer from it.

Get inside someone's head and see the real trauma.

I've had depression, anxiety and panic attacks since I can rem.On top of all the other physical "Shizz" I've to contend with.

Anxiety chokes me. They think it's an off and on thing,no it's not its a constant. Gulping, shaking, legs like jelly, thoughts racing, don't get me started on the Panic welling up.

I don't get this trivialising people's conditions, I'd never disrespect anyone on the grounds of their illness or disability.

If a clinician, doctor, or whoever in the medical profession states you suffer from certain things why is it not good enough. And why esp for pip when the focus isn't meant to be on the condition or medication per say do they bother come off with two things,"your meds are low dose" yeah are they??? Really!! Different strengths can equate to the same thing ,some pills are the same regardless of strength. Or you get "Well you are recieveing every thing to control your condition " hmmmm yeah and it's different strokes for different folks, not everything works every time for all.

I'm sick to death repeatedly explaining myself over my health conditions to those who are hell bent on denying you even suffer from them.

It should be up to them to prove undeniably you don't have them nor need help to get through life otherwise all they are doing is talking utter nonsense. And it's repulsive.

A bl**dy good long term dose of MH conditions might serve them well.

It would shake them awake to our plight.

it is disgusting and sickening that these people get away with this, they’re also trying to demonise us with workers and shame us. I just can’t deal with it all anymore , everywhere I look it’s the same thing , I can’t even listen to LBC anymore coz it’s all over there . If all continues I’ll end up back on psychiatric ward, I can’t deal with it all much longer .
We’re almost the same age and like you my life has been ruined by MH struggles, my MH got so bad it lead to life threatening physical conditions twice - I’m now on medication for that too .

I have severe panic attacks too and they are absolutely horrendous, the physical symptoms they cause are so bad, I don’t know about you but after I’ve had a bad one I’m exhausted the whole of the next day. To call depression and anxiety ‘mild’ is sickening, yes it’s on a scale but mild depression and anxiety can quickly turn to severe, and when that happens it can quickly turn to suicidal ideation .

I've been worried about spending any money in case we're left with nothing. I'I've said that it's the fear of the unknown that is putting me on edge.

You’re right Catherine - have a good laugh about us while eating their vol au vents and sipping champagne, they are all 2 faced liars. I’ve been impulse spending again - stuff I don’t even need .
    Hope you’re ok Catherine

the thing is they aren’t rich nobodies - these people are literally controlling our everyday life whilst living it up in their mansions. You control people by fear and that’s exactly what they are doing .

Angela Raynor should know better her mum has bipolar and has hardy ever worked if at all

I think the recent what app messages that have exposed mps disgusting thoughts on certain topics is merely the tip of the ice berg.God only knows what they have said about us.I imagine there are texts out there. The media only destroy who they want to destroy in cahoots with the right people at 'the right time' to suit their agenda and their politics and what everything always boils down to is money and power and who has it

exactly - the media like to demonise us too so they’d probably not release watts app messages about vilifying us - it’d go against their agenda .

I feel for those who have lost their lives through their mental health.God knows what it must feel like for family and friends left behind to hear these statements coming from politicians.

I’ve just spent a small fortune on DIY and professional pest control for noises in my loft that it seems aren’t real and more a result of anxiety and stress!

I know it’s like a compulsion sometimes . When it’s bad for me I can have 3 deliveries a day. People think it’s a choice but it’s like addiction

I do something similar except for me it's graphic novels and books. Both physical and digital.

damn that’s a lot but if they help occupy your mind then it’s good and def worthwhile. I like the occasional horror too but I absolutely psychological thrillers and documentaries.

I know what you mean, ive got betamax vhs laserdisc vcd dvd blu ray but my partner stopped me with 4K (at the moment)

Prefer physical media as they can edit/remove stuff digitally.

Have tried to keep it under control but maybe like others when stressed i buy for comfort & at the moment im defintely stressed
