    Hi all,

Thank you for the lovely welcome, I am currently having a nightmare with my employers due to my long term health conditions and am struggling at getting them to implement my Occupational Health recommendations. I have now involved my union and just this morning received a short, shrift email from my line managers manager. Heads will roll if i dont get my way.

Hello, did your union help with your situation at work? I'm also dyspraxic and have had difficult situations in previous jobs. You are entitled to support in the workplace and there are some useful apps / resources that can help (if you have a supportive workplace that is!).

Sorry I didn't see this! What union are you a member of?

The civil service have created a good guide for managers, you could show them this and tell them that under the Equality Act 2010 they legally have to take this into consideration: Dyslexia-Dyspraxia-Dyscalculia-and-Dysgraphia-Line-Manager-Toolkit.pdf

I'm sorry the union hasn't been more help, they should be supporting you through this. Some unions have also produced guides (like this dyspraxia-toolkit.pdf).

How have your managers been recently?

Ah I can't post external links on the forum yet, but I'll see if I can message them to you directly
