Significant backpay

I have recently become aware that I was entitled to SDP since 2011 (ish) I was awarded SDP 17 December, but DWP are dragging their feet, regarding payment, of what is likely to be a large backpay payment.
There has been no contact regarding potential timescales, in which I will receive a decision on the amount owed.
I phoned on 10th
February 24 and was assured that My case would be escalated to a manager, who would call within 3 days, it's now 1 week later and I havnt received a call.
I am going to write a letter to Dan Jarvis (my MP) but am unsure how to structure the letter. I have seen on here that Scope community members have had very successful input, from their MPs, and wondered if any of you lovely people, could suggest how to start a letter.
Many thanks in advance.
