    A stagecoach driver told me I have to have a bus permit to get on buses.

    You should be able to get a Permit to Travel from Stagecoach themselves. Most bus providers can now issue them, and they can generally be used on other buses as well.

    Hi @Amanda1972, from doing a bit of research it does seem that you might need to contact Stagecoach to get this sorted. Sometimes there are local numbers to call if you do a quick search, but you can also ring the main company if you can't find a local phone number. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

    The number I found for them is below:

    Stagecoach
    0345 241 8000

    It says you can reach them between 08:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday and between 09:00 and 17:00 Saturday and Sunday.
