Work capability
I claim universal credit and have been told I'm too sick to work I have just been awarded in January for this. I would like to ask for advice for how to get payments. Thank you

Was it LCWRA or LCW?
No extra money is paid for LCW.
If LCWRA, UC will add the LCWRA element onto your monthly payment when you are eligible.
LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
Any backpay will be calculated and paid separately, if there is any.
Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA, have Transitional Protection on your claim or receive Carers Element in your name?

Sent my 1st sick note in 4th August 2024 told I can get £416 a month on January 25th. I've had 1 payment on 4th February. I asked on my journel about backdated money they told me they owe £200. I believe they owe me more am I correct. Would be grateful for any information. Thank you

Were there any gaps in giving your Fit Notes to UC, any that were backdated etc?
What date did you report the health condition?
Do you have Transitional Protection on your claim, if so, how much is it?
Did you receive a formal letter uploaded to your Journal stating the amount owed, or was it an agent via a note on your Journal?

Backpay takes several weeks at least to calculate.
You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed. The money will be paid into your bank account several working days later.
Transitional Protection is effected by the LCWRA award, they'll look at what you are entitled to for LCWRA verses what you've received in TP.
You'll then be paid the difference - in your case that would be £201.19 for each eligible month.
