What aspect of LCWRA do you need help with?

My partner has been putting sick notes in since July 2023 and they kept saying they hadn't received his work capability form then he got an assessment date for 9th December 2024 and was awarded lcwra but they are saying that in his case they are only awarding it from date of assessment instead of 3 months after his first fit note. I don't understand why.

Hi and a very warm welcome to the community.

There is a bit nore information in your other post.
We can only guess on here as to why this has happened.
Were there any breaks in providing Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc? This happening would have an effect on the claim.
Hopefully the written explanation from a Decision Maker clears things up for you.
If after getting that information you disagree, you can ask them to look again at the decision to only backdate from December (known as a Mandatory Reconsideration) and go to an independent appeal tribunal if the decision isn't changed.
