PIP REVIEW

My PIP runs out 22nd March…they contacted me mid July last year to do a review, filled in and sent back with consultants notes etc by beginning if August..Had 4,we haven't done it yet texts, yesterday a letter saying they've extended my initial award year as thwy haven't got ro my review yet, and will hear in due course etc.Now I have been serious ill over the last 3 years, so since my last award, I have physical and mental health conditions added to it, obviously I told them this...I'm now beginning to panic they are putting off case reviews til later in the year, til the changes are in place, and so they can take benefits of me/us by repeatedly doing this to people?...Thanks for reading.

Hi @Deborahzebra, your PIP award should continue as it is until your review is finished. I don't think they would be delaying cases specifically for this reason, but I have heard that some people are experiencing quite long delays in getting their reviews done at the moment. I can totally understand the worries around what changes might come in, hopefully we'll know more over the next few weeks.
Sorry you've been waiting so long for your review to finish, I hope it comes through soon and your result is a positive one.
