Waiting for a letter from pip
Good Morning,
I have just rang the pip claim line regarding my pip claim, they have told me that a letter is sent out on the 21st February, do you think it sounds like I have not been successful with my claim.

Hi @Sharon60 welcome to the forum 🙂 It's really an unknown until you receive the letter unfortunately. I hope it's good news though, and it gets to you swiftly!
Best wishes,

Hi @Sharon60,
I understand why you think that. I have always thought unless you get the ‘We have awarded you pip’ text message first that it’s going to be bad news.
I am awaiting my decision too so I guess we’ll find out shortly 😩🤷🏻♀️0 -
Thankyou everyone, I will keep you up to date

This may sound daft but the PIP letters take around a week to arrive as they are normally sent second class post. I find that if arrears are due they are more likely to arrive in your bank account before the letter arrives, so checking your bank account may give you an early indicator, however this is not a guarantee to measure if you have been successful or not as the award date may be from the date of the decision
