Hi all,

We wanted to let you know that Jimm_Scope has left the community team and moved on to new adventures and challenges. It’s always sad when members of the team move on to pastures new; but we wish them all the best for their future projects.

If you need advice of support on the community, the rest of the team are still around and you can also contact the team by PM to Community_Scope or email at community@scope.org.uk

I want to express how sorry I am that Jimm has left the Scope forum 😐️ he was an asset here 🀩

It seemed to happen suddenly so I hope he found an even better job campaigning for disabled people! I thought he was the same James Taylor (director of Scope?) until recently πŸ™„ never mind.

Jimm was authentic and generous. He helped me behind the scenes when I was a new member with my 'comments queued' and very distressed because difficulties with communication is what autism is about! I raised two questions today about accessibility and user experience πŸ€”

New members can barely get a look in atm so I hope the Scope team returns to their welcoming announcements. I particularly liked the one from Albus where new member names were placed in alphabetical order! ☺️

    GOODBYE JIMM AND THANK YOU!!!

Fear not @WhatThe your questions are being passed on to the powers that be. πŸ˜‰

But yes, we'll all miss Jimm. πŸ’”

Adrian posted this thread on 3rd March and it disappeared the following day, such is the pace of the forum these days!

Maybe it should be an ANNOUNCEMENT so it gets noticed. Imagine being forgotten about after 19 days eh? πŸ˜‰

Jimm was a key member of Scope's online community forum πŸ†οΈ

Maybe Jimm didn't want to make a fuss? πŸ˜‰

Only Just seen this, Jimm was very good to me outside the main forum when any problems arose and I'll always be grateful for his understanding and kindness.

    Wishing him the very best.
