Project title: A qualitative exploration of critical engagements with photographic representations of disability and intimacy on Instagram: The accounts of women with physical impairments

I am looking for self-identifying women with physical impairments who are over the age of 18 to take part in my research which consists of:

1) A Preliminary steering group – advising on my research design - (approx. 1 hour)

2) A Semi-Structured Interview- 3 tasks: create a moodboard, look at 8 Instagram photos and an interview - (approx. 2 hours, can be split up into smaller chunks/tasks)

3) A Collaborative Focus Group Meeting - coming together to look at my research findings - (approx. 1 hour)

Participants are free to take part in just the preliminary steering group, just the semi-structured interview or just the collaborative focus group. I also welcome participants take part in all three of these if they wish.

Study Details:

- Who can participate? Women with physical impairments, over 18

- Compensation: £25.00 voucher available for each stage, total of 75.00 available

- Location: Available either online (camera on or off) or in-person (Manchester/Lancaster/Sheffield) depending on your preference
