Hi @BambiFalls, I've popped your post into it's own discussion, I hope that's okay with you 😊

Fingers crossed our members can help suggest some makes for you to check out. Are you hoping to find a powered wheelchair or a manual one?

I have one of these. Although I don't use it much at present, I may need one for the future

For those who wish to buy a very light weight wheelchair there is a firm based in Forres, Scotland who make carbon chairs.

Cannot remember the company name, about 3 years ago they were worldwide winners of $1m from motor company to help with innovations, productions, sales worldwide.

This enabled the owner, wheelchair user from early age, to move forward much quicker with product and accessories.

Prices I know nothing about but must be incredibly light, I'm thinking back to when carbon bikes first came to production.

I was very taken with thought of carbon as long experience of pushing heavy chairs. There was some TV/commercial advertising to promote the products and the win of $1m funding - think might have been Toyota sponsored.

There was chairs with motors and luggage could easily attach to chairs to enable easier travel.

Hope you manage to find a lightweight chair
