Hi I went for medical on 13th Feb then received text saying still looking into my claim then I called today they said sent letter out on 5th March does that mean I'm not getting pip

No It means they have made a decision on your claim and you should know the answer in a day or two good luck!

Ok thanks I thought I might have been declined I did ask if she knew the outcome she said no hopefully get letter soon

Do you think your assessment went badly?

@luvpink iv seen comments saying you get text first if been awarded and get payment before the letter that's all hun

That would only happen if you have had an assessment but if you haven't then your payments will continue as normal.

@luvpink I only had medical gor text same day then another text say looking at my claim still them called person said sent decision out on 5th March bit couldn't tell me what the decision was as don't say on the system

@luvpink @Albus_Scope the person lied said I can do everything unaided he also said I went to see him on my own I actually went with my daughter she helps me in out bath dress me ext he said I do it all alone I got letter I got the knock back got 0 for everything thank u for ur messages much appreciated

@luvpink yer gonna appeal against it my boss said same I should as they know what I'm like just sent message to c,a,b see if they can help me x

Hey @Lpotty79 I'm so sorry to hear there were some…discrepancies. We hear that a lot unfortunately. But yes, definitely ask for a mandatory reconsideration. But please make sure you do this in writing, as the call centre staff may take down what you say incorrectly.

She appealed and got an award.

It happens a lot @luvpink I've gone from 0 points, to enhanced rate for both components after an appeal, twice.

@Albus_Scope @luvpink oh really when i done the test while with my boss I got 12 on 1 and can't remember on other one sorry but don't see why they lie got appointment with c,a,b sp hopefully get it sorted how.long will the wait be does anyone know thanks
