Help please
I have an ovarian cyst/endometriosis and being assessed for autism in a couple of months requested by my dr. I was awarded lcwra in 2023. Will calling to ask when I will be re-assessed trigger a reassessment? As I’m worried about all the changes lately and really not well physically & mentally at the moment.
My dr thinks I show strong traits of autism and I have known all my life I have felt “different” however I would also like to know if there will be any support as I want to finally be able to live independently. I live with my dad at the moment who has clinical depression and there is no room here as it’s only 1 bed and it’s causing me a lot of discomfort and distress with my physical and mental condition.
Any advice I would be grateful for
Thank you

Re assessments are still suspended for the vast majority on LCWRA.
It's pointless IMO asking them, even telling you the date currently down on their system won't get you anywhere as they can re assess at any time before that, or after because of the suspension for most.

May I suggest that you ask your GP for an autism assessment if that is what they are saying. I would also encourage you to contact your local housing department at the council and ask for their support if you over 18 and living in a one bedroom property with your father. I'm not saying they will house you but they can advise you of options if you wish to move out. If you can afford to rent privately then they can help you with deposit if required.
