Hi there. Wonder if someone could give me some advice. I recieved notification a few weeks ago stating that dwp were reviewing my bank situation. Which I had nothing to hide so during the review phone call that I received from dwp. I was asked about my living conditions. I explained that I live with my friend as she put me up after I had become homeless. The dwp then started asking for their details at the time I asked why do you need them! As she doesn't claim benefits . But I gave the details anyway as I said I I have nothing to hide. But I then received a form in the post a few days later, titled living together as a married couple.… I couldn't believe I expressed a right good few times that it was my friend . I am GAY but I didn't actually tell the person on the phone who was doing my review because I didn't actually had to justify that much. I haven't filled the form in yet but if I dont it has been stated that if I dont my benefits will get stopped. Can anyone give me some advice as I am really unsure what to do and I am extremely anxious

The best advice I can give is you need to fill in the form and return it.

You could also speak to a local welfare rights organisation.

    Hi John,

One of the largest areas of DWP fraud is couples living together but not claiming as a couple.

Does the form allow you to complete it by statin you are not a couple? If so I advise you to complete and return.

I am assuming your finances are separate? If so just answer honestly & you should be fine.
