UC &WCA

hi guys
I could literally cry
Long story short I had a sick note when I
Migrated to UC from LB as ppl were saying they were asking for them
I’m my sons carer but also have my own health issues
I never asked for WCA as I’ve read the outcomes from having the assessment
Which will leave me £400 worse off
I got sent forms which I never filled out or sent back
Today I’ve received a WCA assessment appointment
My last sick note ran out March 03 I think but I have not uploaded a new sick note
As I want to stay as my sons carer
Is this legal?
Are they actually allowed to do this ?
I’ve added photos without my information to show time line
TIA

As this is a more complex question, I would recommend talking to a trained benefits advisor.

Hi @Lainybear I'm sorry to hear this is causing you distress. I'm afraid I don't know enough about UC to be able to answer, but I just wanted to let you know I've had to remove some of the uploaded images as they contained personal information. I hope someone is able to give you an answer soon.

There's a thread which relates to your query and recent case law.
Sounds like you would be group 2 so my reading is you should be able to avoid to erosion but perhaps need to be proactive following any LCWRA award.
