Hi, my name is BJB! I had a complete hip replacement 19 months ago. The last two weeks...

II was wondering, I had a complete hip replacement 19 months ago. The last two weeks, I have been experiencing hip pain, groin and but thick pain, also lower back. Could this possibly be Cox Avala? My mental health counselor mentioned it to me, she has it. Haven't gotten a x ray yet. Tomorrow, I am getting the x ray. I am my husbands Caregiver. Thank you, for any feed back.

Hi, I had a full hip replacement 9 months ago. Recently, I have had pain on the top of that same hip, groin pain and lower back, and buttlock pain. My counselor suggested it might be Cox Avalga? Anyone else experience this? I am having a hip x-ray tomorrow. Thank you!

Hi @BJB and welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear about your pain over the past few weeks. I wouldn't like to guess, but hopefully you'll get some more clarity today after your X-ray. I hope it goes ok. Please let us know how you get on 🙂
Best wishes,
