Backdated PIP CoL
My brother has today being awarded PIP by the Tribunal backdated to May 2022. DWP is now saying he was not entitled to the disability costs of living because he has received this in his UC claim at that time. Is that correct?

I don't believe that is correct, Disability Cost of Living Payments had different different eligibility criteria and were for a different amount, compared to the ones received on UC.
Perhaps someone on UC & PIP can confirm what CoL payments they got?

I agree with Kimmy. Although I was on ESA at the time, the same applies.
The PIP COL payments were for £150 each. The UC/ESA payments were for around £300 each.
People on UC only did not get the £150 payments.
