PIP is ending - unsure on my last payment date.

Hello, my PIP is due to finish on the 5th May and my April payment is the 18th, meaning the May payment is due on the 16th May.
I am trying to budget my money and I'm not sure whether I will receive a payment in May or maybe half a payment?
I haven't even had another assessment - just a text a couple weeks ago!
Thanks in advance!

Ring them you need to be assessed do not not ring them

I will be chasing them in the next few days, thank you. Do you know if my payments will just end in May if I haven't been reassessed?

You will most likely have it extended, a letter is sent approx 35 days before end of award date.

Yeah u may get a letter but I'd be concerned as to why that's already not happened are you sure it's this year on your award as I got a so called 3 years but they where in touch both times after 2 years for reassment just check the finel date of your award and if it is this year you may only get it extended if you ring them b4 it stops then you will carry on getting your payments until you get assment.. But really surprised you have not been already contacted and it runs out in a month mine as I said is usually a year b4

I filled out the renewal form back in October but I’ve not had another assessment or anything to confirm the extension of my award etc. it is definitely May 2025 however.

OK well that's there fault don't worry but check with them let them know you have received nothing in the post in case they have sent you somthing but you normally get a few texts if they have your number and more than one letter. But check anyway if they haven't got bk to you like me they will keep on extending it until you have been assessed if you get housing benefit and a discount because of ur disabilities you will need to keep telling them and council tax I think that it's been extended ask pip for a letter while on the phone. But if this dose not affect your rent then just ignore that bit. Bottom line is if this is because of them they will keep up ur payments until you have been assessed they have to it's not your fault they haven't got around to it
