Enhanced premiums on esa

II'm On income based esa and also get pip higher rate for both components my adult son now lives with me and gets lower rate mobility pip my application for enhanced disability premium got rejected saying my son doesn't have a qualifying benefit when he does he gets lower rate mobility pip I'm having it appealed at the moment but can't understand why they keep saying he doesn't have a qualifying benefit when he does and does it go by what pip I get or my sons I'm the one claiming for it

Because your son lives with you, he has to get a qualifying benefit in order for you to receive the SDP with your ESA.
Unfortunately mobility PIP isn't a qualifying benefit, it has to be Daily Living PIP.
