deed poll

i didn't know what category to choose
i recently changed my first name by deed poll to a shorter form of it, the dwp already send letters with my shortened version of my name, do i need to tell them anyway, just worried if i do, it would issue a review of my benefits, any ideas anyone?

Hi @kreacher, did you apply for your claims under the name you've changed to, or was it in your previous name?
While I wouldn't like to say for certain, I don't think this kind of change would trigger a review as it wouldn't affect your claim in any way.
