Hi there, I have just discovered that UC assume if you are self employed and not earning, they still assume you are earning 1556.00 ?!!! If I understand them correctly they have in fact stated that if you have received UC once in a 12month term as self employed you cannot claim again. I mean never. What help can I get then as a self employed person even though I stated I was happy to find any work. This is nuts. I have emailed the local MP complaining as well.

Hi @MjMorgan8 so sorry you've not had a reply to this yet. Have you had a meeting with your work coach when you initially set up self employed whilst claiming universal credit as there is a minimum floor payment that should have been discussed at this meeting?
Best wishes,

Hi Morgan , have you spoke to CAB or a welfare officer about this to get a clearer understanding of your entitlement?
