How long after uploading the proof of housing documents will they normally get approved and will it say in journal

    Following your message, I just checked my UC journal and saw that my housing details was verified/approved the day after I uploaded my tenancy agreement and council tax statement. Yes, it will appear in the UC journal.

    Of course, experiences may vary depending on location , but that was my experience here in the West Midlands with both my UC claims.

    Yes I still not had feedback on proof of housing costs and I uploaded it April 1st?

    Hi @krj991, it can take them a few days to sort it. If you haven't heard back after a week or so, it may be worth putting a message on your journal to see if there are any issues.

    With my housing change it took them four days to confirm everything was okay. It can vary quite a bit from place to place. Hope you hear back soon 😊

    I expect they will be very busy this week as the rent goes up for social housing on the same day all over the country!
