Anxiety over pip video assessment next week

Hi, I’ve been receiving PIP for 10 years now, awarded for my hearing disability and for depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. I received a text this morning stating that I will be having a PIP video assessment. I did fill out the renewal form and have been waiting for an update for about a year now.

I’m feeling really anxious and uncertain about the upcoming assessment. As someone with a hearing disability, I struggle to hear on calls or video calls, which makes it difficult for me to communicate effectively. I cannot request a face-to-face assessment due to my physical health issues – I have sciatica and nerve problems that severely limit my ability to walk. I often experience twitching in my arms and legs, which I can’t control, making movement extremely difficult.

To add to my concerns, I haven’t been out of my room in over a year and four months, and my anxiety is through the roof right now. My main worry is that the PIP payment, specifically the mobility part that I rely on, will be stopped. I’m unsure how to navigate this process and would really appreciate any advice from those who’ve gone through similar situations.

Has anyone had a PIP video assessment with hearing or mobility issues? How did it go, and do you have any tips or suggestions on how to handle it? Thank you in advance for any help or guidance!
