LCWRA and Pension

Hi, I hope someone can give me some advise. Very sadly after working for many years I have had to leave work and my condition will only get worse. I am in my middle 50s and the chance of me finding another job is almost 0. I applied for my work ill health pension application and have just been successfully. I have a telephone call meeting next week for LCWRA. Will the fact I have been medically pensioned off have any impact on the result? I am not allowed to work or I will lose my pension. If I am successfully do they take your pension payments into consideration for you to get the LCWRA payment?

UC is a benefit made up of different elements including LCWRA.
Your pension will be deducted in full from any UC award, this includes LCWRA element if you are awarded it.
I don't think you being medically retired will count for much during the assessment unfortunately, they are looking at your ability to do any job not just the one you had to stop.

Due to the type of work pension I have, you can only claim on I'll Health grounds if you cannot work at all.

UC are looking to see if you fit the Work Capability Assessment criteria.
The assessment is purely focused on those criteria.
The focus is on the DWP test, not that of your pension provider.
