The Potential 'NEW 4 points rule'

I'm 76 and receive PIP both enhanced with a 10 year review in 2029.

I little confused over the forthcoming new rule. My award back in 2019 awarded me with 7 x 2 points and 3 x 0 points giving me 14 points in total for the

Consequently I don't have a 4 pointer.

I'm wondering if with the 'light touch review' I could lose the care award

Any thoughts?

I've been wondering about this as well.

I'm hoping they'll leave us alone and only take PIP away when our reviews come up rather then take PIP away as soon as the new rules come in, if they do actually come in.

I still think the 4 point rule will be dropped.

That is my worry too. I was told by the DWP when my PIP was awarded that the award will be reviewed after 10 years - light touch review.

A review is a review which I presume will also affect those on a 10 year, light touch award. Still I'll be 80 by the time it comes into play - if it does - and I'll no doubt be past caring if I haven't already popped my clogs by then.

II hope they'll leave us alone altogether! They ought to be thinking of raising MONEY FOR THE BLACK HOLE ( THE BLACK HOLE, SOUNDS LIKE A Dr WHO EPISODE!) THEY SHOULD START WITH THEMSELVES, PAY RISES, EXPENSES, HAVING 2 HOMES, WE PROBABLY FUND ONE OF THEM OURSELVES, & THE LIST GOES ON, & ON ETC. I SAID DURING COVID WHEN WE WERE QUEUEING UP OUTSIDE A SUPERMARKET, OBEYING THE "TRAFFIC LIGHT" SYSTEM AT ALDI & HAVING TO QUEUE OUTSIDE YOUR OWN BANK THAT THE GOVERNMENT SEE IS MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AS PEASANTS!

for a start there was no 'black hole' It was simply the approx value of the train drivers, hospital staff and civil servants demand for wage increases which the Tory government refused to pay.

As for being a peasant that definition is quite correct.

It is the description given of someone of low social status with little or no capital wealth.
