Therapy grants and help
Hi everyone I've tried to search as much as possible before asking on here.
I'm a carer for my children with ADHD and autism. I am autistic and also have ADHD. I have finally found a talking therapist I connect with and has really helped me after just one session! I want to continue seeing her but financially I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it very often at all. 😞
Does anyone by any chance......happen to know if there is a kind of carers grant or disability type grant that would help with counselling fees at all?
Thank you 😊

Hi @Stroud2024
I'm not sure of grants that could support you with your current counsellor. Sometimes counsellors offer discounted rates, but this is usually explained in their profile.
There is a service called Disability Plus Counselling This is a free counselling service for disabled people. All the counsellors are disabled and offer a service designed for specific needs.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards.

Might be something here. You could also ask charities that deal with Autism or ADHD.
