IR ESA migration to UC
I have been on IR ESA for many years, claim started before 2017, in WRAG.
My understanding was that with managed migration to UC the equivalent of WRAG is LCW. However having got first statement it says LCWRA. Is this likely to be an error?
If it is an error and I should be in LCW, am I correct that as a carer who doesn't claim Carer's Allowance should I be getting Carer's Element instead of LCW having told them on migration that I am a carer.
Thanks!

Yes being given LCWRA is a mistake if you transferred from ESA WRAG.
You can be entitled to both LCW and Carers Element. However only the higher financial amount is paid.

I did mean only higher amount paid but entitled to both.
Is best thing to do put a note in my journal?

So I put a note in my journal and finally got reply saying I am not entitled to CE as I am in receipt of LCWRA. I know you can't get CE and LCWRA but given I expected to be in LCW then I expected to get CE as that is higher financial value than LCW.
I guess I will need to reply for further clarification about whether I should be in LCWRA or not. Given I was in WRAG when on ESA, I think I should be in LCW.
