Do pip allow communication with relay uk?

Hi id like to know please if anyone has used relay uk to communicate with pip not just for assessments but for all phone call communications, this is something i really struggle with and wondering if its ok to ask for it to be used or is it just best to have my family member take the call for me with my permission, is this something i need to ask for in writing i dont want a appointee i just cant do phone calls with anyone so relay uk is a option for me or is it best to have a family member?

Hi @millyb92 sorry you didn't get a response to this. The DWP do promote relay as a service they offer for PIP. I haven't had any experience using it with them myself, and I struggled to find any client review/feedback websites but hopefully another member who has can provide their feedback. Did you go ahead with using the service in the end?
