ESA deductions

Hi I’m wondering if someone can help me.
I claim income related ESA, my husband has a war pension and we don’t know how much he gets weekly but have requested an updated letter from the department that deals with this. I have a recent letter from ESA stating £57, it also states £10 of it is disregarded, does this mean they only deduct £47 or that the payment he gets is £67 and they are deducting £57? Im very confused, phoned ESA and waited 1h 20mins for the operative to say don’t know, he phoned the calculations department and they said don’t know.
Hope someone can shed some light on this one. Many Thanks, Sonia

Hi @soniacoffin I'm so sorry you've not had a response to this yet. I can imagine you've likely gained more information since this post. Did you manage to get it resolved in the end?
