Finally got my diagnosis

I posted here almost a year ago to ask questions before I went to my GP about being referred for an autism assessment. In the end my mother offered to help me out to pay for a private diagnosis so had the assessment last week. The psychiatrist was very good and made me feel at ease. Today I received my diagnosis that I have autism and ADHD. I was already diagnosed with Dyspraxia. The psychiatrist also asked if I had ever been assessed for mild learning difficulties which I haven’t. But anyway feel so much better, and at last know why I have struggled so much with everything especially work and relationships. At least I can now stop wondering what is wrong with me.

Hi @Francesca22 It must be a relief for you to finally have a diagnosis. It is sometimes the not knowing that is so difficult to deal with.
Please take care of yourself.
