Direct payments when moving area

I’m considering swapping my council flat in Kent for one in London.
I currently receive direct payments for my friend to care for me 3 hours a day. I’m wondering if I would have to be reassessed by the London council when I move? And if so would it have to be straight away? And if I wanted her to continue caring for me at least for a while until I can find someone more local then would it seem dodgy if her listed address is miles away?

Hi @goonerfan954 I don't have a huge amount of knowledge on this, but these direct payments look to be made by your local council so if you're moving outside of this, it might be effected. It might be worth contacting your local council to be completely sure of this though.
