Hi, my name is Buddie! In a mixed age couple, can my husband claim carer's element?

Hi all
Just found this community I have arthritis, mobility issues ,incontinence long covid and fibromyalgia
I have a query regarding carers element on UC
We have a joint UC claim
My husband is retired and on full state pension
I receive support group esa and both components of pip
My husband cares for me . Can we claim carers element ? I find it a bit confusing!
Look forward to chatting with you

Mixed age couples mean benefit advice can be quite complex.
So I would recommend talking to a trained benefits advisor.
