Hi, my name is Untutoredninja! Waiting for PIP review decision. Anyone else on tenderhooks?

Hi everyone.
I sent my PIP review form over a year ago. I had a phone call last week (took me by surprise). Just to ask a few questions, I already receive the full amount of PIP.
My symptoms have worsened over the year.
I'm 66 in September and worried I will lose my PIP.
I know there is nothing I can do but wait, but my anxiety is through the roof.
Fed up with feeling I have to beg for money and treated like a nobody
Anyone else on tenderhooks?

Hey there @Untutoredninja (loving the name) and welcome to the community.
I think we can all empathise with how you're feeling. I myself have just finished the review process and that took a very long time. It's a very stressful time, but please try not to worry about it too much. We're all here for help and support if you need us. π1 -

Meant to say thanks for your replies.
Nice to know I can reach out and not alone π

Will you get your State Pension at 66? If so and your PIP claim goes through beforehand, it will automatically switch to an indefinite award. That will be the end of your worries for a good while!

Of course, there is always support here.
Let us know how you get on, if you can.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all feeling as well as you can be and not too many dark days π€
Just wanted to update on my pip reward
Only taken a year to do a quick review but glad to say I am still recieving PIP with next check in 10 years.
To know I have this to bolster a probably meagre pension this year is a relief.
I wish you all the best if you are still waiting, as I know how it feels π€
