When should I update PIP claim?

hi I had my PIP assessment on Monday and my GP has just told me I need a blood test for a new medical condition. Should I update my application now or wait until I get the results back, any suggestions welcome thanks

    hi @Overwhelmed1

    I would wait until you actually have a new diagnosis, and then consider if it will impact on you any further than you are currently claiming for, as there is usually a waiting time for having needed help for prior to claiming PIP for new diagnosis
