Payment

hi I recently 14th April started migration to Uc , I have had the standard Identity check at job centre a week later , had a payment on the 25th april of ESA I believe my run on but now 9th may today I had another payment of esa , due Uc payment on the 19th may I’m really puzzled as to what’s going on can anyone advise please

Was the ESA payment for £281.10?

no it was full amount £447

It's probably because your ESA hasn't been stopped correctly following your UC application.
Instances of this happening are increasingly common as the number of migration letters goes up.
If you have been paid too much IR ESA by mistake then this will be deducted from future Universal Credit awards.

Apologies, I should have said UC are capped at the rate they can take debt repayment deductions so it shouldn't be taken all at once.
