Help please
Hi, I've had my new statement on universal credit. My rent has increased but they've taken the difference off my transitional protection. Is this correct? So now I get less. So what the rent has increased to I've lost in payments.

Yes unfortunately this is correct.
Transitional Protection is added if your total UC award is lower than legacy benefits, so at the time of transfer you aren't worse off.
This does erode over time as other elements go up or new elements are added.

Does this mean when I see the increase in award from April that will be taken off my transitional protection too? It's so sad how they get people to migrate over to universal credit and sting us in the long run by slowly decreasing the transactional protection 😞

Yes when you have your first full Assessment Period after the April rise, your Transitional Protection will reduce by a corresponding amount.
I agree the UC system not paying any disability premiums is unfair.
I was awarded PIP last year and under the legacy system I would have qualified for SDP. Under UC I got nothing.

Do you know how much the price increase is? So if it comes off my transitional protection will I be worse off or i just won't see the increase? My anxiety and depression is so high because of this. It's terrible isn't it

You won't be worse off, you will be on the same money for now and not see the increase.
