Hi,
DWP phoned me regarding my pip application and asked if it was okay to receive a lump sum of money in to my bank account, she said its arreas or something along them lines and should receive it in the next 3-5 days, Said I should receive the payment before my letter, does this mean ive been awarded? I've been getting updates via text but i haven't received the award text as of yet.
Thanks

Heya @Casper274 congratulations, that does indeed sound like you've been awarded PIP! The in arrears part means they're awarding you back pay as well.

Thank you for reassuring me, I'm just panicking that I haven't received a award text, As I've been getting updates constantly via texts for my application.
Think I'm just worrying over nothing
